It all started 30 years ago…
I have danced for over 30 years, training and taking exams with the BATD association in Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance. I have also studied other dance styles including Salsa, Street and Cheer Dance. After leaving school, I took some time out from education to focus on my dance and qualify as a teacher before heading off to university.
Since qualifying, I have worked in universities, schools, nurseries and at the dance school where I studied. Of all the things in my life that I do and have done, dance has always been an integral part of who I am. I want to bring my passion for dance to as many other children and adults as possible so that they can also find joy and fun from their experience.
Since having my son, I have noticed that importance of the link between regaining body confidence and forming new friendships is very much underestimated. I have joined many classes with my son and found that not many focus very much on forming new bonds of friendship for adults with others who are on the same journey as me. Having children is a life transforming experience, one which is made easier when shared with others!
